When Do Bluebonnet Sessions Take Place?
Bluebonnet season typically occurs between March and April, but the intensity of the bloom varies each year. Finding the perfect field every year is challenging since it’s not guaranteed that we will have a strong season or that the same location used in previous years will be full of flowers. That’s why, before opening bookings, I personally drive to Brenham to ensure we have the perfect spot. Once everything is confirmed, I first announce the sessions in my VIP Client Group and then on social media.
Since the season is unpredictable—sometimes lasting just a week or a little longer—I only take on a limited number of clients to ensure an exclusive and high-quality experience.

Where Do the Sessions Take Place?
Although there are small bluebonnet fields in Houston, they tend to be limited in space and crowded with visitors on weekends. That’s why I host my sessions in Brenham, TX. The drive is worth it, as the fields there are more expansive and provide a much more beautiful setting for your photos.
Types of Sessions Available
I offer two types of sessions during bluebonnet season:
Full Session: A private session for your family, lasting between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Mini Session: 30-minute sessions on specific days, with up to three families booked on the same day.
For mini sessions, access to the client closet is not included, but dress rentals are available if desired.
How to Book Your Session
Once I confirm we have a beautiful field, I first announce the sessions in my VIP Client Group and to my waitlist. Spaces are limited, and bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, a Booking Fee is required. Your session is only confirmed once this fee has been paid.
Within five days after your session, you will receive access to your online gallery to select your favorite images. The final invoice will be sent after your selection, and the turnaround time for the final edited images is typically between two to three weeks.

What to Wear for Your Session

Best Days and Times for Photos
Weekdays are the best time to photograph, as the fields are less crowded, providing a calm environment without distractions or people in the background. Sunset is the ideal time for capturing the golden, soft light that makes your photos even more stunning.
